    North Carolina Botanical Garden

The Curriculum for the Environment & Ecology along with the Institute for the Environment work closely with the North Carolina Botanical Garden. Graduation from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for the program will take place in the Garden on May 13, 2012.

The North Carolina Botanical Garden at UNC-Chapel Hill aims "to inspire understanding, appreciation, and conservation of plants in gardens and natural areas and to advance a sustainable relationship between people and nature." For the past 40 years, the garden has served as a place focused on conservation, education, and pure aesthetic pleasure for visitors of the area.  To learn more about the excellent projects and exhibits the garden has to offer, please visit
